Young people from across America, Canada, and Puerto Rico gathered at the Temple Baptist Church and Crown College for the Youth Congress on July 8-10, 2009. God blessed every meeting in a mighty way.
On Wednesday night, Dr. Mitch Campbell, a renowned spine surgeon from Louisville, Kentucky, brought a powerful message on "The Road Less Traveled."
Thursday night, Attorney Robert Painter from Houston, Texas, challenged the delegates to find and follow God's path for their lives. Pastor Sexton emphasized that young people make a difference through many areas of service as they yield their lives to God.
On Thursday and Friday, hundreds of young people attended delegate sessions at Crown College designed to help them become bold witnesses for Christ in their generation. The School of Youth Ministries was also conducted to instruct and inspire pastors, youth leaders, and parents. Each evening, over 300 teenagers joined in singing in the Congress Choir.
Friday night concluded the Youth Congress with a Bible message by Evangelist Kenny Baldwin. The Lord spoke to hearts in a wonderful way.
